ON-LOT SEWAGE PERMIT PROCESS

INTRODUCTION

​

A sewage permit is required of persons intending to install, replace, repair or alter an on-lot sewage disposal system.  Adding additional bedrooms to an existing dwelling or increasing the sewage flow for commercial or industrial facilities may also require modifications to a septic system, thus requiring a permit.  Applications for a permit may be made by the property owner.
